As a leader, I want nothing more than to live a balanced and healthy lifestyle. However, I often find myself struggling to stay afloat in all that surrounds me day in and day out. Each aspect of life—leading, health, social, community, career, and finances—commands energy and focus.

 

Understanding the concept of leadership and wellbeing has helped me navigate all these aspects and adapt to anything thrown my way.

 

Leadership & Wellbeing is designed to inspire, teach, and engage individuals in the process of understanding personal and leadership wellbeing concepts. Each person will learn the five essential elements of wellbeing (physical wellbeing, social wellbeing, community wellbeing, career wellbeing, and financial wellbeing), and be able to apply these concepts to their leadership and personal lives.

MENTORING

Mentorship has always had a huge place in my heart…

 

And so has my desire for everyone to elevate and unleash their greatest potential. 

I serve as a mentor to many people in many ways. I also take great pride in facilitating conversations and learning opportunities on the importance and impact of mentorship.

 

As mentors we engage in a host of difference situations with our mentees – visible, hidden, social, personal, subtle and profound. One of the most important things is to have a variety of tools that will help you navigate through any condition.

 

I will help you consider best practices, discuss challenges, share experiences, and strengthen collaborative connections that will help you be a champion of a mentor.

 

Here is a mentorship program I launched at FSU for black men to help bridge the gap between wellbeing, mentorship and leadership.
